Rick Lee Corum, age 64, of Coon Rapids, IA, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids with Pastor Rick Hamilton officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse in Coon Rapids from 1 – 2 P.M. prior to the service on Saturday.

Rick was born on July 8, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM, and he was the son of Thomas and Barbara Corum. He grew up in San Jose, CA, and after his schooling he worked as a mechanic restoring foreign cars, mostly Jaguars. Rick was married to Karen Banducci on November 9, 1985 in Reno, NV. The couple lived in San Jose until moving to Orville, CA, 1992 where he owned and operated RC Plumbing. Rick and Karen moved to Coon Rapids in 2004 where they purchased their acreage north of town and he raised Charolais cattle. He served on the Ralston volunteer fire department for several years. He enjoyed fishing, socializing with friends, being on his acreage, and spending time with his family.
Rick is survived by his wife Karen of Coon Rapids; Karen’s children: daughter Becky Banducci of Carson City, NV, son Tony Banducci of Grass Valley, CA, and daughter Christy Schroeder (Ted) of Driggs, ID; four grandchildren: Brittany Smith (Sam), Michael Burriesci, Nicholas Banducci, and Cole Schroeder; four great-grandchildren: Liam, June, Reed, and Olive; two sisters in California; and several other extended family members.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Barbara Corum; his in-laws: Phil and Elizabeth Sloss.
