Carroll suffered a loss on the road but started to show some growth on offense as the Tigers were able to take 9 shots on goal. That is one of the better offensive outputs in a loss this season. Emersyn Walsh had 4 shots on goal while Mary Perkins, Kiley Riesberg, Bella Baldus, Paige Potthoff and Kaisen Stypa each had a shot on goal.
Jayden Kirsch continues to play well in goal and finished the night with 22 saves. The loss dropped Carroll to 2-6 overall and 0-5 in the Raccoon River Conference. The Tigers host East Sac on Thursday.

East Sac improved to 5-3 on the season with an impressive road win. The Raiders battled all match and did a great job on defense holding West Sioux to only two shots on goal. As good as the defense played the offense took advantage of their limited opportunities. The match was scoreless at half but East Sac scored two goals in the 2nd half on a total of 3 shots on goal for the match. Kayla Meyer and Felicia Hagner each broke through in the 2nd half. Bree Boeckman added an assist.
Aleisha Thayer didn’t have to deal with much coming her way but was up for the task with a pair of saves on the two shots by West Sioux.
The Raiders travel to Carroll High on Thursday.
