The Audubon Wheelers gained more game experience against Atlantic Tuesday. The Wheelers played four singles games and two doubles games, amassing 10 wins on the day.
Eli Deist was able to win three of his singles games, but lost the match 8-3. In doubles, Deist and Tyler Rugaard won one of their games, but fell 8-1 in the match. Connor Christensen and Jake Lauritsen teammed up in doubles and took three games in their match, but eventually fell 8-3.
Audubon will travel on Thursday, April 29th to take on the Kuemper Knights at Carroll.

Clevi Johnson of Atlantic won 8-3 over Eli Deist of Audubon
Brian York of Atlantic won 8-1 over Tyler Rugaard of Audubon
Nate McClean of Atlantic won 8-2 over Connor Christensen of Audubon
Zach Colton of Atlantic won 8-0 over Jake Lauritsen of Audubon
Doubles
Clevi Johnson and Brian York of Atlantic won 8-1 over Eli Deist and Tyler Rugaard of Audubon
Nate McClean and Zach Colton of Atlantic won 8-3 over Connor Christensen and Jake Lauritsen of Audubon
Spirit Lake at Kuemper

The Kuemper Knights won all their singles matches and only dropped one doubles match in their meet against Spirit Lake Tuesday. Kuemper saw close matches in both singles and doubles, but they were able to close out those matches and win the day eight matches to one.
Luke Hicks ended his singles match winning by a score of 10-4 and teamed up with Carter Soppe in doubles, where they won 10-2. Soppe in his single match won convincingly winning 10-2. Sam Janssen’s day consisted of one singles match, where he won 10-2. Gus Collison’s lone match of the day saw him win in singles 10-5. Will Pugh had the hardest day in singles, winning by a score of 10-6. Pugh’s doubles partner, Blake Pottebaum, had a better time in singles action, winning 10-2. Pugh and Pottebaum learned as a team in their doubles match as they lost 10-4. Josh Langel and Jared Hausman’s lone match of the day was their doubles match, where they had to work a bit, but ended up winning 10-6.
Kuemper is in action next when they welcome Audubon to town on Thursday, April 29th.
