Ar-We-Va, Coon Rapids Bayard, Glidden Ralston and Paton Churdan At Rolling Valley Conference Meet At Woodbine

Ar-We-Va used solid relay finishes to take 3^rd while Glidden Ralston was strong in individual events in taking 4^th at the conference meet. The Rockets of Ar-We-Va won two relays, took 2^nd in one and 3^rd in another while Glidden Ralston had 4 individual winners and two 2^nd place finishes in individual events. Paton Churdan got a solid day in field events and Coon Rapids Bayard picked up points in a relay as Paton Churdan took 8^th and Coon Rapids Bayard 9^th.

Kora Obrecht paced Ar-We-Va in individual events winning both the 400 Meters (1:05.35) and Long Jump (15-00.00). The Rockets also received a 3^rd place in the 1500 Meters from Trista Reis (6:06.91) and Jadeyn Smith in the Shot Put (36-08.50).  Ar-We-Va Maggie Ragaller continues her strong push since returning a little over a week ago as she finished 2^nd in the 400 Meters (1:15.49). Glidden Ralston showed a lot of strength in individual events as Vanessa Koehler brought home 1^st place in the 100 Meters (13.39). 200 Meters (28.08) and the High Jump (5-00). She was also 2^nd in the 100 Hurdles (17.13). Alexia Nelson continues her strong distance season for the Wildcats with 1^st place in the 1500 Meters (5:40.43) and 2^nd in the 3000 Meters (12:10.44). Danielle Hoyle of Paton Churdan was the Discus champion (118-05) and was 2^nd in the Shot Put (37-10.0).

Mentioned early in the story that Ar-We-Va was really good in relays. They took 1^st in the 4×200 (1:59.32) with Hannah Kraus, Kallie Bromert, Maggie Ragaller and Jadeyn Smith and in the Sprint Medley (2:01.65) with Kruas, Jamie Hausman, Smith and Bromert. Ar-We-Va also went 2^nd in the Shuttle Hurdle (1:14.54) with Maggie Ragaller, Elizabeth Brunner, Kora Obrecht and Jamie Hausman. The Rockets also grabbed a 3^rd place in the 4×100 (55.97) with Kraus, Hausman, Sara Schurke and Smith. Glidden Ralston showed off their depth with 3^rd in the Sprint Medley (2:10.87) with Savannah Bennett, Brileigh Bock, Morgan Tuel and Tiela Janssen and 3^rd in the Distance Medley (5:15.84) with Bennett, Tuel, Alexia Nelson and Janssen.

Kuemper At Storm Lake Relays

The Knights finished 7^th with 38 points in a tough meet on Monday finishing the meet with an individual champion, a 2^nd place and 3^rd place individual and a relay in 3^rd place.

Macy Blum had the best overall night for Kuemper taking 2^nd in the Long Jump (15-09.50) and 3^rd in the 100 Meters (13.29). Blum was joined on the individual podium by Kenzie Schon who won another Shot Put title (36-06.50). The Knights had several relays score but only the Sprint Medley finished in the top three, taking 3^rd (2:06.38) with Catherine Mayhall, Kerrigan Irlbeck, Megan Scott and Grace C Hoffman.
