Denison Schleswig used the wind in the first half to build a quick 3-0 lead within the first ten minutes of the match. The Tigers struck back but couldn’t overcome the early deficit as they fell to 6-5 overall and 1-2 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference. Kuemper trailed 3-0 at half but scored in the 2^nd half to cut it to 3-1 on a goal by John Mayhall with the assist to Max Burnett. The Knights had other chances to cut into the lead but couldn’t convert. The offense got better looks and executed better in the 2^nd half but wasn’t able to finish.

Noah Bauer finished the night with 15 saves. John Mayhall scored the lone goal and Max Burnett had an assist.

Kuemper travels to Glenwood (6-5) on Thursday.
