Carroll at Raccoon River Conference Tournament

Carroll tied for second with ADM at this year’s Raccoon River Conference tournament Monday. Carroll and ADM finished the tournament with a team score of 324. Gilbert was named conference tournament champions with a team score of 295. Two of the four golfers for Carroll were able to finish individually in the top ten.

Dream Munson shot the team’s lowest score with a 76, nabbing him a fourth place finish individually. Ty Nissen wasn’t too far behind him, ending the 18 hole course with a score of 78, tying with two other golfers for sixth overall. Will Ragaller contributed well to his team’s score, finishing his day with an 82. Bryce Berlau rounded out the scoring for the Tigers, ending his day with a score of 88. Brock Snyder of Gilbert was the individual conference tournament champion with a score of 71.

Kuemper at Hawkeye 10 Conference Tournament

The Kuemper Knights wrapped up the Hawkeye 10 golf tournament with a third place team finish and great individual scores. The Knights finished with a team score of 330, behind second place finishers Lewis Central who scored 327 and tournament winners Atlantic who scored 322. 

Kuemper’s lowest scorer in the tournament was Mitchell Badding who finished in sixth place individually with a score of 78. Maverick Schwabe, Tyler Auen, and Carter Putney all completed the tournament with the same score of 84. Kuemper’s other two golfers were Jack Tiefenthaler, who scored an 85, and Benicio Lujano, who scored an 88. 

Kuemper is in action next when they open up Class 2A postseason sectional play at Panora on Friday, May 14th.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston at Rolling Valley Conference Meet

Coon Rapids Bayard and Glidden Ralston were in action Monday at the Rolling Valley Conference meet at CAM Anita. Coon Rapids Bayard finished the day in third place with a team score of 359, followed by Glidden Ralston in sixth place with a score of 427. 

Jeffery Kracht of Coon Rapids Bayard had the team’s lowest score, finishing the day with a score of 88. Preston McAlister shot one stroke more than Kracht, scoring an 89. Josue Ramirez and Kolby Culbertson finished the 18 hole course with the same score of 91. 

Kyle Olberding of Glidden Ralston wrapped up his day on the course with an individual score of 102. John Whitver shot one more stroke than Olberding, scoring a 103. Caden Smith stayed close to his teammates as he finished the 18 hole meet with a score of 109. Tyler Brant rounded out the scoring for the Wildcats with a score of 113.
