IKM-Manning At Boyer Valley
IKM-Manning tuned up for the state qualifying meets on Thursday with a different lineup at Boyer Valley on Monday. The Wolves finished 4th with 79 points behind LoMa, Riverside and West Harrison. The Wolves lightened the load up on a few kids to make sure everyone went into the meet on Thursday in full strength. They still had several outstanding finishes placing in the top 3 in five individual events and four relays including bring home the title in the 400 Meters (they went 1-2) and the 4×800.
Jaxon Doyel and Hunter Smith stole the show in the 400 Meters going 1st and 2nd with Doyel winning it (56.52) and Smith taking 2nd (56.93). Lane Sams continues his strong season taking 2nd in the 1600 Meters (4:58.52). Brody Blom and Cooper Irlmeier each finished 3rd, Blom in the 110 Hurdles (18.13), Irlmeier in the Long Jump (19-00.00).
IKM-Manning won the 4×800 (8:48.35 with Hunter Smith, Akim Duot, Connor Keller and Quentin Dreyer. They were 2nd in the Shuttle Hurdle (1:13.48) with Brody Blom, Eli Dreyer, Reed Hinners and Will Fara and the Distance Medley (4:15.36) with Trey Jasa, Ryan Germer, Justin Segebart an Caden Keller. The other relay in the top 3 was the 4×100 taking 3rd (47.99) with Eli Dreyer, Cooper Irlmeier, Justin Segebart and Jaxon Doyel.

Ar-We-Va, Glidden Ralston and South Central Calhoun At East Sac
It was a nice night in Sac City even with a cool north breeze as four area schools wrapped up the regular season on a night the Raiders honored the retiring Larry Tellinghuisen. East Sac finished the night in 3rd place with 95 points, having six top three finishers in individual events and finishing in the top three in three relays as well. Glidden Ralston took 5th place with 65 points and had three 1st place finishes and four events total in the top three individual and a 1st place in the relays. South Central Calhoun was 6th with 48 points, finishing with one individual event in the top three and three relays in the top three. Ar-We-Va ended up 8th with 22 points and had two individual event top three finishes.
Brigham Daniel of Glidden Ralston set the tone for Thursday state qualifying meets winning the 100 Meters (11.32), 200 Meters (23.27) and the 400 Meters (52.59). His teammate Carter Scott was 2nd in the Long Jump (19-02.50). Justin Rupnow of East Sac won the Shot Put (45-02.00), Wyatt Thorpe of East Sac was 2nd in the 3200 Meters (11:46.55), CJ Frank gave the Raiders another 2nd place in the 400 Hurdles (58.14). Garret Ortner, 400 Meters (57.36), Tony Clair, High Jump (5-08) and Tyler Schmitt, 200 Meters (24.52) all finished 3rd for the Raiders. Ar-We-Va Cooper Kock won the High Jump (6-00) and was 2nd in the 110 Hurdles (15.67). Cole Corey gave South Central Calhoun a 1st place in the 400 Hurdles (58.00).
The Titans did their most damage in relays winning the Distance Medley (3:52.13) with Adyen Toms, Ben Englin, Cole Corey and Evan Jacobs. They were 3rd in the 4×100 (46.65) with Ayden Toms, Ben Englin, Brock Nattress and Keegan Soard and in the 4×200 (1:40.65) with Brock Nattress, Keegan Soard, T’Juan Hildreth and Cody Thompson. The Raiders won the 4×200 (1:37.80) with Ace Thelen, Cale Niehaus, CJ Frank and Tyler Schmitt. East Sac was 2nd in the 4×800 (10:39.81) with Jadon Horton, Will Munger, Ethan Peter and Cauy Hugeback and in the Shuttle Hurdle (1:10.16) with Alex Hauser, Cole Babe, Garret Ortner and CJ Frank. Glidden Ralston claimed the championship in the Sprint Medley (1:41.27) with Karter Kennebeck, Carter Scott, Carter Soyer and Brigham Daniel.

Audubon and Paton Churdan At AC-GC
Audubon had a nice performance in a deep and talented field on Monday. The Wheelers finished 8th overall with 63 points but had three top three finishes in individual events including a pair of champions and added two top three finishes in relays. Paton Churdan didn’t score any points and their top finisher was Bradyn Smith in the Discus where he finished 9th (114-08)
Matthew Beisswenger won the Long Jump (20-02.00) and was 2nd in the 200 Meters (23.44) for Audubon while Gavin Smith won the 110 Hurdles (15.54). the Wheelers were 2nd in the 4×100 with Ethan Klocke, Matthew Beisswenger, Gavin Smith and Joel Klocke and 3rd in the 4×200 (1:34.69) with Ethan Klocke, Joel Klocke, Brandon Jensen and Matthew Beisswenger.
