Kayla Meyer scored about a minute into overtime as the East Sac Raiders won for the 6th straight time and improved to 10-3 on the season. The Raiders dominated play most of the match but couldn’t get the goal to give them a lead in regulation. They outshot the Wildcats 12-3. Meyer would lead the team with 7 shots on goal, Felicia Hagner added 3 and Olivia Wernimont finished with 2 shots on goal. The defense was stout in front of Thayer and didn’t allow the Wildcats to threaten much.
The Raiders will look for their 7th straight win on Friday at Greene County.

Carroll fell to 3-11 on the season as the Comets improved to 11-2. North Polk was steady in their attack against Carroll scoring 5 goals in the first half with the first one coming at the 34:42 mark. They added to the lead at the 27:12 mark and 22:08. Carroll defense got a stronger in the zone and Jayden Kirsch made several nice saves. The Tigers did a get a run out from Emersyn Walsh who beat the defense up the right side of the field. Her shot on goal was under some pressure and the Comets were able to make the stop at the goal. Carroll wouldn’t threaten the rest of the half and trailed 5-0 at half.
