Here are updated results from the Class 2A State Qualifying Meet in Manson NW Webster with South Central Calhoun and East Sac County.
For East Sac, Justin Rupnow started off the day for the Raiders by getting second place in the shot put with a throw of 44-11.50. He automatically qualifies for the state track meet. Tyler Schmitt won the 400 meter dash and qualified for state track with a time of 52.85. Brooke Jergens will head to state track in the 200 meter dash as she finished in second place with a time of 27.11. Emma Schroeder automatically qualified for state track as she finished in 2nd place in the 1500 meter run with a time of 5:24.87.
For South Central Calhoun, the Distance Medley Relay team, consisting of Ayden Toms, Cole Corey, Ben Englin, and Evan Jacobs, qualified for the state track meet by finished in second place with a time of 3:55.71. Chloe Judisch qualified for the state track meet by finishing in second place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:32.93. Corey nabbed a second event that he will compete in at state track, that being the 400 meter hurdles as he finished in second place with a time of 56.64.
