IKM-Manning and Kuemper at Class 2A Sectional Meet at Panorama
Kuemper and IKM-Manning competed Friday at the class 2A Sectional meet in Panorama Friday. Kuemper won the meet and will advance to the district meet with a score of 344. IKM-Manning finished the day on the course with a team score of 385. Kyler Rasmussen of IKM-Manning shot an 85 but was disqualified due to an improper score sheet. Rasmussen entire four-some was disqualified. Panorama and Roland-Story are the other two teams heading to the district meet next Friday. Panorama advanced with a 350 and Roland Story finished 3rd with a 368.
Jack Tiegenthaler for Kuemper finished his day in first place individually, winning medalist honors with a score of 80. Mitchell Badding got fourth place individually with a score of 85. Maverick Schwabe did well on the course, ending his day with a score of 88. Tyler Auen rounded out the scoring for the Knights, completing the course with a score of 91.
For IKM-Manning, Tyler Brandt finished with what would be their low with a 86 advancing to the District Meet. Conner Richards gave the Wolves a good performance, ending his day with a score of 97. Max Nielsen added a 100 and Grant Gaer had a 102.
The Class 2A district meet will be held at the Carroll Country Club on Friday, May 21st beginning at 10 am.
