Kuemper cruised through their opening round winning the match while still in singles play. The Knights only dropped one set, going 11-1 in sets and 67-23 in games along with winning 10-8 to end a match that was tied 1-1 in sets. Sam Tidgren dropped just one game, Alyssa Brant and Vanessa Breedlove and Sophie Rohe each lost 2 games and Jordan Schwabe pulled out a hard fought win in her firs set before dropping the second set 7-6. Schwabe rallied to win 10-8 to end her match and clinch the win for Kuemper. Keziah Janssen of Kuemper was leading her match 7-5 when the match ended.

Kuemper picked up their 2nd win of the day going 4-2 in singles and 1-0 in doubles to end the match. The Knights won eight of the twelve sets they played in singles going 59-39 in games. They won the only doubles match going 12-4 in games. Vanessa Breedlove went perfect on the day winning her singles and doubles match. Samantha Tidgre, Alyssa Brant and Sophie Rohe all won their singles match. Jordan Schwabe dropped her singles match but rallied to win her doubles match with Breedlove to go 1-1 in the match.
Kuemper advances to face Union at Marshalltown Saturday, May 22nd in the Regional Semifinals.

Audubon saw their season come to an end on Saturday dropping their opening round Regional matchup to the host Trojans. The Wheelers were able to pick up a set win from Aleah Hermansen and nearly had two others with Kya Petersen and Sophia Sebetka battling to tough losses. Audubon went 2-10 in sets and finished the day 34-68 in games.
