Grace Pettitt of Carroll and Kylie Powers of IKM-Manning Qualify for State, All Regional Scores

Girls Regional Golf Results Monday, May 24th 

Carroll At Class 3A At Denison Schleswig 

Grace Pettit will finish her Tiger career at the State Golf meet after finishing 5th at the Regional Final on Monday. Pettitt shot a 93, with a 48 on the front 9 and a 45 on the back 9. Laura Sweeney closed out a great career nearly making the State Meet shooting a 96 and taking 7th place.  Sweeney shot a 44-52. Ashlee Danner was the 3rd Tiger on the scorecard with a 50-60 for a 110 and Abby Danner was their final score with a 54-61 for a 115.

Carroll finished 5th with a 414, behind Gilbert with a 375 and Nevada 400 who both qualified for State. Heelan took 3rd with a 412 and Denison Schleswig added a 412 to finish 4th.

Sayer Steig of South Central Calhoun at Eagle Grove in Class 2A 

Sayer Steig finished up the season with a solid showing in the Regional Final in Eagle Grove. Steig shot a 110 and was 7 strokes behind the 6th place golfer that qualified for State.

Coon Rapids Bayard and Sydney Beymer of Audubon At Class 1A At Anita

Sydney Beymer of Audubon shot a 97 and nearly qualified for State as an individual as the last qualifying score was a 93. Beymer closed out a terrific season for the Wheelers. Coon Rapids Bayard had their team season some to an end finishing in 7th place with a 427. Alaya Betts led the team with a 100, Emma Hart finished with a 102, Brynn Bass a 105 and Morgen Hart a 120 for the Crusaders.

Kylie Powers of IKM-Manning and Kim Daily of Glidden Ralston At Class 1A At Holstein 

Kylie Powers of IKM-Manning advances to State and continues her great season. She shot a 86 to take 1st place and moves on to State as a Regional Champion. She will compete in Ames at the Ames Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, June 1st and Wednesday, June 2nd. Kim Daily of Glidden Ralston wrapped up a great career with a 103.
