Computer Concepts Of Iowa And ICE Technologies Announce Next Steps In Integration Process

In April of 2020, President and CEO of Computer Concepts of Iowa (CCI), Adam Schweers, joined President and CEO of ICE Technologies, Keith Van Donselaar, in announcing the Pella-based firm had acquired the Carroll company. Schweers has stayed on in the role as Business Development Manager and talks about the transition over the past year.

He says they will remain in Carroll and begin to officially operate as one company under the ICE Technologies’ name on Aug. 1, 2021. To date, customers have not seen any changes to the operational model, but a shift is coming with this integration. The focus will hone in on small and medium businesses and hospitals.

Again, there is little change in the commercial services. Schweers says the residential consumer, which has traditionally comprised about eight percent of CCI’s customer base, will be seeing an impact with that focus shift to the commercial sector.

Residential clients who have current anti-virus licensing, Microsoft 365 or things of that nature will be contacted by Computer Repair and Service directly. Schweers says they are excited about this change, and since the merger, have been able to add a technician and expand their services in this region.

Schweers also thanks all those who have supported CCI since their inception in 2005 and who will continue to support them in the future. ICE Technologies was founded in 1990 and has a background in the healthcare industry. This merges their technology functions with CCI’s, adding even more security-centric tools for small and medium businesses.
