Carroll struck early and often against a Titan team that looked a little disoriented early with 6 errors which helped lead to longer innings and runs for Carroll as the Tigers built a 9-0 lead heading into the 4th inning. The Tigers did a great job of taking advantage of the miscues by South Central Calhoun and had opportunities to open an even bigger lead but had 4 on base and had a player thrown out at 3rd in the first three innings. Camryn Schable had the big hit with a deep 2-run blast in the 1st inning. Schable had tripled twice this season but this was her first home run. Parker Adams started the Tiger scoring run in the 3rd reaching on a single to lead off the inning. She finished the game 3-3 with a hit by pitch. Shay Sinnard and Chloe Gallegos picked up RBI in a 4-run inning.
The Titans came out swinging the bats with Emma Geno and Kortney Riley singling to start the game but the Titans were unable to score with runners on 1st and 2nd and 1 out. That was their best chance until the 4th inning as Alyssa Brant settled in and struck out 4 Titans in the first 3 innings and only allowed those two singles. In the 4th Emma Anderson led off the inning with a single and then scored on a double by Sally Musselman. Musselman swung the bat well going 2-3 and helping her own cause with 3 RBI. She singled in the 5th to score Madi Smidt and Emma Geno. The Titans made it a 9-4 game in the 6th when Kylee Schliesman reached on an error and scored on a wild pitch. Camryn Schable came in for Carroll and shut the door in the 6th with a pair of strikeouts. Brenna Goins doubled in the 6th for the Tigers and scored on a base hit by McKenna Vincent. Schable got the Titans in order in the 7th.
Parker Adams led the Tigers with 3 of their 9 hits. Camryn Schable had 1 hit but it was a 2-run home run and she finished with a team high 2 RBI. Macie Kennebeck and Makalie Kofron each scored twice. Alyssa Brant picked up the win for Carroll going 5 1/3 innings allowing 7 hits and striking out 6. Camryn Schable faced 4 batters and got all 4 out.
Sally Musselman led the Titans with 2 hits and 3 RBI. She had their lone extra base hit with a double. Emma Geno, Emma Anderson, Kylee Schleisman and Madi Smidt scored the runs. Musselman took the loss going all 6 innings allowing 9 hits and 6 earned runs.
The win improves Carroll to 8-7 as they head to Perry on Wednesday. South Central Calhoun falls to 5-4 and will be at West Bend Mallard on Wednesday.

Kuemper rallied in the 7th inning with a pair of runs and then Kamryn Venner struck out the side with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the 7th as Kuemper improved to 5-4 on the season with a 5-4 win on the road. It wasn’t pretty as the Falcons scored three times in the 6th to grab a 5-3 lead and looked like they were in good shape. Hailey Ostrander started the rally in the 7th, reaching on an error. Brianna Lux singled with 2 outs driving in Ostrander with the game tying run. Kenzie Schon gave the Knights the lead with a single that scored Lux. A walk and a single for St Albert started their half of the 7th but Venner settled in a struck out the next three hitters to end the game. The win moves Kuemper to 1-1 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference.
Brianna Lux led the Kuemper offensive attack with 3 hits including a double and 2 RBI. Jordan Schwabe had a solo home run. Kamryn Venner had a pair of doubles along with picking up the win with 6 strikeouts and 3 hits in 3 innings of work. Chloe Venteicher threw 4 innings giving up 4 hits and 1 run with 3 strikeouts.
Kuemper heads to Denison Schleswig on Thursday.

Audubon won big on the road, getting a lot of offensive production up and down the lineup. The Wheelers had 9 hits with six different players collecting at least one. They jumped out big early and never looked back scoring 4 times in both the 1st and 2nd innings. They ended the game with a 4-run 5th inning. The win moves them to 5-3 on the season.
Jordan Porsch has a great night at the plate with a pair of doubles and 4 RBI. Katelyn Nielsen also doubled twice, adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Sydney Beymer gave the Wheelers a third player with 2 hits along with 3 runs scored. Hannah Thygesen and Mattie Nielsen each had doubles as the team had six doubles in the game. Alexis Obermeier got the win going 5 innings, allowing 4 hits and striking out 6.
The Wheelers will host AHSTW on Thursday.

Coon Rapids Bayard started slowly on offense but got a great night of pitching from Emma Hart as she kept Whiting at bay until the bats got rolling in the 4th inning and Coon Rapids Bayard rolls to a road win. The Crusaders scored 3-run in he 4th inning but it was the 6-run 5th inning that put the game out of reach. The team finished with 9 hits and had seven different girls pick up a base hit. Whiting scored a pair of runs in the 6th.
Cassidy Baker and Bridget Shirbroun led the Crusaders attack with 2 hits each. Miranda Garcia tripled and was hit twice. Emma Hart grabbed the win going the distance with 5 hits and no earned runs. Hart struck out 8. Lydia Hofbauer scored a pair of runs.

IKM-Manning scored first as Laney Gawley scored on a hit from Zoey Melton. The Wolves finished with a pair of hits as Melton doubled and Jessica Christensen added a triple. AHSTW responded in the bottom of the 1st, scoring 5 times. They opened the game up with a 4-run 3rd and ended it with 4 more in the 4th.
The Wolves fall to 0-8 on the season. IKM-Manning heads to Underwood on Friday.
