Betty Ann Adrian, age 95, of Scranton, IA, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Accura Healthcare of Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 16,, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church in Scranton with Rev. Karen Patrick officiating. Organist for the service will be Patti Patrick. Casket bearers will be Betty’s friends and family members. Burial will be in the Scranton Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Scranton United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:15 A.M. prior to the service.

Born on October 14, 1925 in Jefferson, IA, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Smith) and Seth Shores. She grew up the Jefferson – Cooper area and graduated from Cooper High School in 1944. She was married to Roy Daniel Adrian on December 7, 1948. The couple made their home south of Ralston and farmed in the area all their married life. She was a member of the Scranton United Methodist Church.
Betty is survived by a sister-in-law Shirley Deeth of Bayard and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Richard, and her husband Roy “Dan” Adrian.
