Beginning next week, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley’s regional director from Des Moines will hold traveling office hours in 10 counties throughout central Iowa. In the Carroll Broadcasting listening area, this includes a one-hour stop in Greene County in the Board of Supervisors meeting room at the courthouse in Jefferson from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15. The office hours are open to those who are having issues with federal agencies, such as Social Security payments, military service matters, immigration cases and more, or who wish to share their views on matters of federal policy. Director, Adam DoBraska will be representing the senator, Grassley will not be present. “My top priority is serving the people of Iowa,” Grassley says. “Traveling office hours is one way of doing that. My staff helps Iowans with issues they may have with the federal government, and I hope anyone experiencing problems will use this resource.” The meeting will follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Iowa. Participants must adhere to local COVID-19 guidelines and are encouraged to follow the CDC face mask or covering recommendations.
