A Carroll woman was arrested Sunday for allegedly stealing money out of a cash register. The Carroll Police Department reports they responded to the Casey’s Store in the 600 block of W. U.S. Highway 30 at approximately 11:54 a.m. Twenty-three-year-old Ashley Anne Wiederien was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft. As of Monday morning, she remained in custody at the Carroll County jail.
