Carroll had the bats going on Thursday finishing the 5 inning game with 14 hits and two guys with 4 RBI. The Tigers scored 11 times in the 1st and 2nd inning combined. Treyton Goins highlighted the 1st inning with a double that scored 3-runs. The Tigers put together a few hits in the 2nd inning along with using some mistakes from ADM. Carroll scored three of their five runs in the 2nd inning on errors or wild pitches. The Carroll defense did a nice job behind Sibenaller with two errors but gave up 3 unearned runs.
Colby Christensen was one of the offensive stars for Carroll with 4 hits and 4 RBI, Slade Sibenaller added 3 hits with 2 doubles and drove in 2-runs. Treyton Goins had a pair of hits and had 4 RBI and Ty Nissen had a pair of hits and scored 4 times. Slade Sibenaller got the win going the distance, allowing 6 hits and 2 earned runs with 4 strikeouts.
Carroll moves to 9-7 overall and 4-6 in the Raccoon River Conference. They head to Nevada on 93.7 KKRL on Friday.

Cal Wanninger 3-run home run in the 7th turned out to be the insurance runs the Knights needed as they held on to be Harlan and improve to 10-4 overall and 8-3 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference. Wanninger came up in the 7th with Blake Pottebaum and Austin Tigges on base and hit a line shot over the centerfield fence. His home run turned out to be key as Harlan scored 3-runs in the bottom 7th to pull within 3-runs before Blake Pottebaum closed the door. Pottebaum put the Knights up in the 1st, doubling home Logan Sibenaller, Pottebaum then scored to make it 2-0. The Knights added 3-runs in the 3rd inning on another Pottebaum double. Harlan got on the board in the 3rd with 3-runs but didn’t score again until the 7th as Nate Heinrich was in control on the mound pitching the 4th through 6th innings.
Kuemper finished the game with 7 hits and 6 RBI. Blake Pottebaum had a team high 3 hits with 2 doubles and 2 RBI, he scored 3 times. Cal Wanninger had another RBI to go with his 3-run home run. Logan Sibenaller got the win going 3 innings with 4 hits and 3 earned runs. Nate Heinrichs threw 3 innings allowing 2 hits. Kuemper hosts Heelan on Friday night on KIKD 106.7.

Gabe Obert hit a grand slam home run and finished 3-4 with 6 RBI as Coon Rapids Bayard hit the ball well in a home win over Audubon. The Crusaders batted around in the 1st and 3rd innings scoring 4-runs in the 1st inning and 6-runs in the 3rd. Obert hit the grand slam in a 4-run 2nd inning. Coon Rapids Bayard finished with 11 hits.
Audubon is in the midst of its toughest week of the season having played Treynor twice and Underwood with games remaining against Missouri Valley and Denison Schleswig. The Wheelers swung the bat well only striking out twice but they only finished with 5 hits. The Wheelers scored in the top 1st when Braden Wessel reached on a fielder’s choice and scored on a single by Ethan Klocke. They added a pair of runs in the 3rd with Wessel picking up an RBI.
Gabe Obert led the Crusaders attack with 3 hits, highlighted with a grand slam home run. Josh Ramirez, Preston McAlister and Easton Hays all had 2 hits with Ramirez and McAlister doubling. Lance Clayburg added 2 RBI. Jacob Estrada came in to pitch for Coon Rapids Bayard in the 3rd inning and stopped a Wheeler rally.
Joel Klocke and Braden Wessel scored twice for Audubon with Wessel doubling. Cooper Nielsen, Ethan Klocke and Gavin Larsen added the other hits.
Coon Rapids Bayard hosts Exira-EHK on Friday while Audubon entertains Missouri Valley. The Crusaders improve to 15-4 overall while Audubon fell to 6-8.

IKM-Manning won their 2nd straight with both being on the road. Max Nielsen had a great night on the hill and the offense started fast and finished strong. The Wolves struck for 4-runs in the 2nd inning, Cooper Perdew tripled, driving in a run and Max Nielsen added a 2 RBI single. The Wolves built a 6-0 lead heading into the bottom 3rd. Riverside rallied with 3-runs in the 3rd inning but IKM-Manning got the momentum back with a run in the top of the 4th. Riverside loaded the bases in the 7th after scoring 2-runs but Max Nielsen was able to turn a 5U-3 double play on a line drive to end the game.
The Wolves finished with 13 hits with five players with 2 hits. Conner Richards, Max Nielsen, Cooper Perdew, Kaiden Berry and Brody Blom all had 2 hits. Richards doubled with an RBI and run scored. Nielsen drove in a pair of runs, Perdew tripled and scored with an RBI. Hayden McLaughlin also tripled and scored twice. Max Nielsen got the win going 6 innings, allowing 6 hits and 1 earned run while striking out 8. Brody Blom and Lane Sams combined to pitch the 7th.
The win improves IKM-Manning to 4-11 overall and 3-9 in the Western Iowa Conference. The Wolves host LoMa on Friday.

Evan Jacobs pitched extremely well and South Central Calhoun played their best game of the year nearly picking up their first win of the season. The Titans took the lead in the bottom of the 6th when Ayden Toms tripled, scoring on a base hit by Chance Roeder. The Falcons rallied in the 7th and scored a pair of unearned runs. The Titans scored a pair of runs in the 4th to take a 2-1 lead but OA-BCIG tied the game in the 5th with a run.
South Central Calhoun finished with 7 hits with two players having 2 hit games. Evan Jacobs and Ayden Toms both had 2 hits with Toms tripling and scoring twice. Jacobs scored once and stole 2 bases. Zach Trott added a double with 2 RBI. Evan Jacobs pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing 7 hits and 2 earned runs with 3 strikeouts.
South Central Calhoun fell to 0-13 overall and 0-7 in the Twin Lakes Conference. They host East Sac on Friday.
