The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) announced today (Friday) lane closures on Iowa Highway 44 will begin Wednesday, June 23 in Guthrie County. The bridge deck overlay project between Panora and Guthrie Center will require traffic control through temporary lights with a 15-foot height and width limit also in place for the duration. Weather depending, work is expected to conclude by Thursday, Sept. 30. DOT officials remind motorists to drive with caution and obey all traffic control signs and devices while in construction zones.
