The Tigers had the tying run at 3rd base and the winning run at 2nd base in the 7th inning with 1 out and weren’t able to score to tie the game. They scored a run before loading the bases in the 7th to pull back within a run after allowing 2-runs to score in the top 7th. Carroll out hit Bondurant Farrar 13 to 7 and got a solid pitching performance from Slade Sibnaller, who allowed 6 hits in 6 1/3 innings. The Blue Jays took the lead in the 3rd, scoring 3-runs. Carroll answered in the 4th when Ryan Johnston had a sac fly to score a run and Treyton Goins drove in the second run with a base hit. The Blue Jays added a pair of runs in the 5th before Carroll tied it in the bottom half when Slade Sibenaller hit a 3-run home run. Jack Troutman added an RBI single in the 7th but the Tigers left the bases loaded. Bondurant Farrar took advantage of 3 Carroll errors, turning them into 3 unearned runs.
Slade Sibenaller had a big night at the plate with 3 hits including the 3-run home run. He scored 3-runs as well. Jack Troutman added a pair of hits and an RBI. Ryan Johnston doubled and drove in a run. Colby Christensen finished with 2 hits. Sibenaller pitched well going 6 1/3 innings, allowing 6 hits and 4 earned runs while striking out 6.
The loss drops Carroll to 10-9 overall and 4-8 in the Raccoon River Conference. They travel to Carlisle on Thursday.

The Raiders got solid pitching early, keeping the game scoreless until the 5th inning when the Cougars scored a run. They added a run in the 6th and got 2 more in the 7th. Dylan Meredith and Caleb Villhauer combined to pitch 6 innings and didn’t allow an earned run. Meredith struck out 5 in 3 1/3 innings and Villhauer struck out 4 in 2 2/3 innings. The Raiders struggled on offense, collecting 3 hits and getting 6 runners on base.
Karter Ludwig had a team high 2 hits and Aden Vondrak picked up the other hit. Dylan Meredith and Tyler Wright both walked. Meredith went 3 1/3 innings allowing 3 hits with 5 strikeouts and Caleb Villhauer went 2 2/3 innings with 3 hits and 2 runs but neither were earned.
The Raiders fall to 2-11 overall and are 1-8 in the Twin Lakes Conference. They travel to West Bend Mallard on Friday.

Glidden Ralston had three hits against the leader of the Rolling Valley Conference and had seven guys reach base in the loss. They were not able to drive in a run and CAM Anita slowly pulled away scoring in all five innings. The Cougars scored a run in the 1st inning and led 3-0 heading into the 3rd. They added 5-runs in the 3rd to stretch the lead and then added 3-runs in both the 4th and 5th innings.
Mark Lensch, John Whitver and Caden Smith all had base hits in the loss. Holden Hein walked twice. Ethan Olberding, Andrew Bennett, John Whitver and Jackson Sklenar combined on the hill to give up 7 hits, 8 walks, 14 runs with 7 earned runs and 6 strikeouts.
The loss drops Gildden Ralston to 1-12 overall and 1-01 in the Rolling Valley. They travel to Woodbine on Friday.

The Wolves felt like they let one slip away on the road on Wednesday taking a 4-2 lead into the 7th and falling in extra innings. The Wolves had a runner on 3rd with 1 out in the 7th and weren’t able to score the insurance run. Boyer Valley took advantage and scored 2-runs in the 7th to tie it and sent it to extra innings. The Wolves answered the call and scored a pair of runs in the 8th but Boyer Valley again rallied scoring 3-runs with two of them unearned in the 8th to win it. Brody Blom drove in Amos Rasmussen who tripled in the 2nd inning, putting the Wolves up 3-2. Both team scored a pair of runs in the 1st inning with Blom driving in both of them. IKM-Manning held the lead at 3-2 as Cooper Perdew was holding the Bulldogs in check. He went 6 innings and allowed just 3 hits. IKM-Manning extended the lead to 4-2 in the 6th. The Wolves had three chances in the game with two coming early to open the game up, having runners on 3rd base with one out and they weren’t able to take advantage. IKM-Manning out hit the Bulldogs 11 to 4 and only had two errors but both came in the 8th inning.
Brody Blom paced the offense with 3 hits, including a double and 3 RBI. Amos Rasmussen had a pair of hits, with a triple and scored twice. Cooper Perdew went 6 plus innings allowing 3 hits and 4 earned runs with 5 strikeouts.
The Wolves drop to 4-15 and will host AHSTW on Thursday night to wrap up their conference regular season schedule.

A big 6-run 5th inning helped Coon Rapids Bayard pull away and pick up their 17th win of the season. Gabe Obert highlighted the rally in the 5th with a 3-run home run. The game was tied entering the 5th with Woodbine get both of their runs in the 3rd inning and Coon Rapids Bayard scoring single runs in the 3rd and 4th innings. The Crusaders out hit the Tigers 12 to 7. Kolby Culbertson had another solid game on the hill, giving up 2 earned runs and 6hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Gabe Obert had the big hit with a 3-run home run while Kolby Culbertson led the team with 3 hits. Josh Ramirez and Easton Hays each had a pair of hits and combined to score 3 times. Aaron McAlister doubled with an RBI and scored. Kolby Culbertson picked up the win going 51/3 innings and striking out 7.
The Crusaders improve to 17-5 overall and 11-3in the Rolling Valley Conference. They head to the Brent Prange Tournament on Saturday and will face Carlisle at Johnston Middle School at 4:45.

This is a loss the Rockets will have to move past after letting an 8-1 lead slip away in the 5th and 6th inning. Ar-We-Va dominated the early innings but went cold at the plate while Exira-EHK heated up late in the game. Ar-We-Va went ahead 4-1 after the 1st inning, then added a run in the 2nd and 3 more in the 4th. Will Ragaller had controlled the Spartan batters through 4 innings but they started to get to him in the 5th and scored 4-runs to make it a 8-5 game. They struck for 5 more runs in the 6th to pull out the comeback win. Ar-We-Va out hit the Spartans 10-7.
Cooper Kock, Luke Smith and Blayne Smith all had 2 hits with Kock doubling and scoring twice, Luke Smith had and RBI and scored twice and Blayne Smith drove in a run. Conner Kirsch had a double and 2 RBI. Will Ragaller took the loss pitching 5 1/3 innings, allowing 5 hits and 5 earned runs with 9 strikeouts.
The loss drops Ar-We-Va to 8-5 overall and 7-5 in the Rolling Valley. They host conference leader CAM Anita on Friday.

The played well on defense only allowing Newell Fonda to one run in each of the first three innings but they got the bats going in the 4th, scoring 4 times. The loss drops the Titans to 1-15 overall and 1-8 in the Twin Lakes Conference.
Evan Jacobs and Chance Roeder both walked and Roeder and Brock Nattress were both hit-by-a-pitch.
The Titans travel to SE Valley on Friday.
