Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Thursday in Carroll. Officers with the Carroll Police Department responded to the scene on U.S. Highway 71 and 18th Street at approximately 8:40 a.m. Forty-four-year-old Miki Greene of Carroll was northbound on 71 in a 2013 Ford Fusion. Eighty-nine-year-old John Oeser, also of Carroll, was westbound on 18th Street and failed to yield to the Greene vehicle at the stop sign. He attempted to turn left onto Highway 71 and was struck by the Fusion. Both vehicles were disabled and both drivers sustained minor injuries. Oeser was cited for failure to yield on a left turn.
