No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle backing accident Thursday afternoon in Glidden. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene near the intersection of Arizona and 5th Streets at approximately 4:55 p.m. According to their initial investigation, 56-year-old Glen William Knight of Glidden was backing his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado out of his drive and did not see a southbound 1993 Chevrolet K1500, driven by 65-year-old Roger Edward Behrens of Glidden. The Knight truck collided with the passenger side of the Behrens vehicle, resulting in functional damage to both. Damage to the Silverado is estimated at $3,000 and $1,500 to the K1500.
