Karen Schouten with Animal Rescue of Carroll says they are getting into the patriotic spirit next Monday with a drive-thru fundraiser.
One hundred percent of the proceeds raised go to the center for care of the animals. It may be used for food, spaying and neutering, shots, flea and tick prevention, litter and more, but there are other ways these donations help keep the doors at Animal Rescue open as well.
Now that COVID restrictions have eased a little, Schouten says they are getting back up to speed with their fundraisers and adoptions are picking up.
She says they have a lot of dogs that are a little older right now, so they are running a senior dog promotion.
