New Opportunities has opened applications to families in need of assistance procuring school supplies for the 2021-22 school year. The back-to-school program aims to support low-income families in the seven counties they serve: Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Dallas, Greene, Guthrie and Sac Counties. Parents or guardians have until Saturday, July 31 to complete a brief online survey to determine eligibility. Information collected includes county of residence, contact information and the district the student will be attending. Due to limited availability, supplies are limited to households with children in preschool through 8th grade. A link to the application can be found included below. Paper forms are also available at the New Opportunities offices in their respective counties.
