East Sac Head Coach Steve Nuetzman picked up career win number 150 as the Raiders started fast and closed strong. Maty Quirk opened the bottom 1st reaching on an error and Mary Bontrager beat out a bunt to put a pair of runners on for Bree Boeckman. Boeckman doubled to score Quirk and Bontrager giving her 17 RBI on the season. Meredith Brown added a solo home run, her first of the season and East Sac led 1-0. The Raiders got a very nice pitching performance from Shelby Geery as she and her defense held Pocahontas in check most of the game. The Indians cut it to 3-2 in the 4th but that would be all they would get. East Sac added an insurance run in the 6th when Abby Schueneman singled with the bases loaded for her 8th RBI of the season.
Shelby Geery picked up her 13th win of the season, improving to 13-5. Bree Boeckman, Maci Gustavson and Abby Schueneman all had 2 hits with Boeckman picking up a pair of RBI with a double. Schueneman had an RBI and Meredith Brown hit a home run.
The Raiders improve to 14-6 overall and 7-3 in the Twin Lakes Conference. They are tied with SE Valley for 3rd in the league and will host South Central Calhoun on Friday. The Titans are 9-11 overall and 3-7 in the Conference.

Carroll scored 4-runs in the 5th inning, breaking a scoreless tie as they pick up their first conference win and built themselves some confidence when they travel to Perry next week for the opening of the postseason. The Tigers were tough on defense with just 1 error and got a strong performance from Camryn Schable in the circle. Schable also had the big hit in the 5th, doubling to score 3-runs. Ava Gross had driven in the first run to give them their first lead of the game.
Cam Schable led the team with 3 RBI and a double while Ava Gross and Parker Adams each had 3 hits and a run scored. Gross added an RBI. Brielle Hinners scored a run and had a base hit. The double for Schable was her 7th of the season to go with 19 RBI. Gross scored for the 19th time this season. Schable improved in the circle to 6-5 by going all 7 innings allowing just 4 hits and striking out 2.
They travel to Ballard on Thursday. Carroll sits at 12-18 overall and 1-14 in the Raccoon River Conference. Ballard is 19-13 and 8-8 as of Wednesday night.

Kuemper won their 4th straight and improved to 19-11 overall with a nonconference win over IKM-Manning. The loss drops IKM-Manning to 0-19 on the season. The Knights got on the board early, scoring 4 times in the 1st inning with a 2 RBI single by Kenadee Loew scoring Jordan Schwabe and Kenzie Schon. Brianna Lux scored on a single by Kamryn Venner and Loew then scored on a Sac Fly but Melinda Schaefer. Venner and Loew had big nights at the plate and each drove in a run in the Knights 2-run 3rd inning. Kuemper extended the lead to 10-0 in the 5th when Kyndal Hilgenberg singled to score Schaefer and then scored on a double by Hailey Ostrander who had a very big night at the plate.
IKM-Manning threatened in the bottom 3rd when Jessica Christensen singled and moved to 3rd on a single by Zoey Melton. Those two would be stranded on 2nd and 3rd.
Kenadee Loew picked up her 15th double and 24th RBI and Hailey Ostrander added 2 doubles 10th double of the season. Loew finished with 3 hits, 3 RBI and scored twice. Hailey Ostrander had 2 doubles and scored twice. Brianna Lux had 2 hits including a double, her 8th of the season. Kamryn Venner drove in her 20th RBI of the season with two hits, a double and 2 RBI. Chloe Venteicher improved to 9-8 in the circle by going all 5 innings with 2 hits and 7 strikeouts.
Jessica Christensen and Zoey Melton continue to swing a good bat and had the two hits for the Wolves.
Kuemper heads to Glenwood on Thursday for a varsity doubleheader. The Knights sit 5th in the Hawkeye 10 while Glenwood is 10-17 and 4-11 in the conference. IKM-Manning steps out of the conference on Friday when they head to 9-21 MVAO-COU to wrap up the regular season.

Ar-We-Va recovered from some defensive struggles early where they allowed 3 unearned runs to get the bats going late and pick up a win on the road. The Rockets scored 5 of their 9 runs over the final two innings, improving to 9-9 overall and 9-6 in the Rolling Valley. Whiting was in the search of their 4th win of the season and 2nd in a row as they jumped out with a pair of runs in the 1st and another in the 2nd. Ar-We-Va rallied in the 3rd with 3-runs to take a 4-3 lead but Whiting tied it in the bottom 4th. Ar-We-Va out hit Whiting 11-4 and once the defense settled in they were able to take over as Jadeyn Smith pitched well.
Kora Obrecht had a team high 3 hits for Ar-We-Va, including a big triple, 2 RBI and scored 3 times. Obrecht leads the team with 11 RBI this season. Maggie Ragaller and Jadeyn Smith each had 2 hits and scored a run. Jamie Hausman came up big with a pair of RBI. Smith improves to 8-9 on the season by going 7 innings and giving up just 1 earned run on 4 hits while striking out 12.
The Rockets close out the regular season on Thursday when they travel to West Harrison. Ar-We-Va sits 3rd in the Rolling Valley while West Harrison is 11-10 overall and 8-7 in the conference and sit in 5th place.

The Wildcats fall to 2-18 overall and 2-13 in the Rolling Valley. They travel to Coon Rapids Bayard to wrap up the regular season on Friday. The Crusaders are 5-16 and 4-11 in the Rolling Valley.

The Wheelers fell down early but rallied back into the game with a 2-run 2nd inning. Kylee Hartl hit a 2-run home run, scoring Johanna Sauers, her first home run of the season. Griswold added a run in 3rd and two in the 5th and 3 in the 6th. Jordan Porsch singled in the 6th, scoring Michelle Brooks who came in to run for Katelyn Nielsen who singled.
The Wheelers finished the game with 7 hits and were led by Kylee Hartl 2 hits including 2-run home run. Jordan Porsch had a base hit and an RBI. Johanna Sauers and Michelle Brooks scored a run each.
The loss drops the Wheelers to 14-9 overall. Griswold improves to 25-1 overall. The Wheelers will play Underwood in the WIC semifinals on Thursday in Underwood. The Eagles lead the conference as 21-2 and 14-2.
