Only minimal damage resulted from a fire at John Deere in Paton on Wednesday afternoon. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Greene County Emergency Medical Services and the Paton, Grand Junction and Jefferson Fire Departments all responded to 409 E. Paton St. at approximately 3:46 p.m. They were able to contain the fire to the dust collection system.
