The Carroll County Board of Supervisors have moved next week’s meeting to Tuesday, July 6 due to the Fourth of July holiday. The first item of business on the agenda is consideration of an appointment to the Maple River Township board of trustees. This will be followed by a review of applications from the Veterans Affairs office for homestead, military and disabled veterans’ homestead tax credits. At 9:30 a.m., the board will host a public hearing on the status of funded activities for the CDBG down payment assistance program. The final items of business include approval of the county’s annual audit for Fiscal Year 2021, a request for proposal for an outside consultant to review the county’s health services and advertising for a new county ambulance director. The supervisors will close the meeting with manure management annual updates and reports from committees. The Tuesday, July 6 meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the courthouse meeting room and will be livestreamed.
