Eight Fire Departments Respond To Fire At Former Grand Junction Grocery Store

Eight area fire departments responded to a fire at a former Grand Junction grocery store on Sunday, but the building was a total loss. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reports that the Jefferson, Grand Junction, Paton, Rippey, Churdan, Scranton, Bouton and Ogden Fire Departments as well as Greene County Emergency Medical Services responded to the fire in the 300 block of East Main Street at approximately 5:36 a.m. No injuries were reported and no details on the cause of the fire have yet been released.
