The 23rd annual St. Anthony Golf Classic raised a record-setting amount that has been earmarked for the hospital’s mental health department. The event was held on Monday, June 28 at the Carroll Country Club and raised $77,632, bringing the overall total for the Classic to more than $1.25 million. “The Golf committee and volunteers that helped us put on this year’s Golf Classic were outstanding,” says St. Anthony President and CEO, Ed Smith. “We can’t do an event of this size without a lot of people involved and I’m truly grateful for all their help. We remain one of the few hospitals in the state to offer both outpatient and inpatient mental health services. This year’s fundraiser will help us continue to provide high quality mental health care in west central Iowa,” Smith adds. Co-chairs for this year’s event were Maureen Beck and Kyler Ludwig.
