UPDATE–Jefferson Man Faces Six Counts After Vehicle And Foot Pursuits Saturday Morning

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson Police Department were involved in a high-speed chase on 230th Street early Saturday morning, at approximately 3:11 a.m. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reports a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on 230th near Falcon Avenue, east of Scranton. The driver, 57-year-old Charles Raymond Bradshaw, II of Jefferson, did not stop and instead fled at a high-rate of speed. Bradshaw lost control at I Avenue and entered the ditch, at which time he fled on foot through the corn field. A deputy located Bradshaw near 310th Street and I Avenue, northeast of Bayard, at approximately 9:28 a.m. He again attempted to flee on foot, but was subsequently apprehended. He was transported to the Greene County jail, and booked on charges of interference with official acts, first-offense trespassing, eluding, reckless driving, failure to obey a stop sign and driving while a license is denied, suspended and/or revoked. He was later released on his own recognizance.
