The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office reports two juveniles were transported for treatment following a single-vehicle rollover accident Tuesday evening. According to law enforcement, deputies were dispatched to the 2500 block of U.S. Highway 71 south of Hamlin at approximately 9:35 p.m. Their initial investigation determined a 2005 Chevrolet Impala crossed the center line and entered the ditch when the juvenile driver overcorrected. The sedan rolled once and came to rest on its top. The driver and a passenger were transported to Audubon County Memorial Hospital by Audubon County Emergency Medical Services for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
