Calhoun County Native, Riley Bleam, Joins CCEDC As Its New Executive Director

Calhoun County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) has named Riley Bleam as the group’s new executive director. Prior to joining CCEDC, Bleam worked in education, most recently as assistant director for economic development at Iowa Central Community College. Bleam holds a bachelor’s degree from Buena Vista University with a master’s degree in science from Fort Hays State University in Kansas. Bleam is originally from Rockwell City and currently lives on a farm near Manson. “As a resident of Calhoun County, I look forward to being a resource for our communities, existing businesses and prospective businesses and industries,” says Bleam. She is taking over for Jill Heisterkamp, who stepped away from the CCEDC last month to join Agriland FS as a marketing campaign manager. CCEDC President, Keaton Hildreth, says, “We’re excited to welcome Riley to the CCEDC as our new executive director. Riley will be a great asset to the county and its communities as she builds on the momentum created within our organization during the past several years.”
