The Carroll County Engineer’s Office announced today (Tuesday) the Olympic Avenue railroad crossing south of the Carroll Country Club will be closed through the end of the week. Officials say the road will be blocked beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28 while crews from Union Pacific tear out and replace the crossing. Work is expected to conclude by the evening of Friday, July 30. Motorists are asked to find alternate routes for the duration of the project.
