A teenage driver escaped injury in a rollover accident Monday afternoon. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reports they responded to the scene in the 1900 block of 283rd Street, southeast of Jefferson at approximately 1:49 p.m. The 16-year-old male lost control of a 2008 Dodge Avenger and rolled the car one time in the east ditch. The vehicle sustained an estimated $2,500 in damages and the driver was cited for failure to maintain control.
