A section of Calhoun County Road D36 (270TH Street), just to the east of Rockwell City, will be closed beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 4 for a bridge replacement project. A detour will take motorists: north on Ogden Avenue, County Road N57; to new Highway 20, 235th Street; then east to Sigourney Avenue, also known as County Road N65. This closure is expected to last until Dec. 1 of this year. Anyone with questions is asked to contact the Calhoun County Engineer’s Office at 712-297-8322.
