The Audubon County Roads Department has announced a section of Eagle Avenue near Audubon will be closed into the weekend for road construction. Officials say the roadway between 170th and 180th Streets will be closed to thru-traffic beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5. Work on the project is expected to be finished by 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7. Motorists are asked to find alternate routes while crews are on scene.
