Residents of the City of Carroll showed up in full force during the last week of July, making the Class 1A and 2A baseball tournament’s return to Merchants Park a huge success. To show their appreciation to all those who volunteered, a special gathering has been planned for next week. Pizza and drinks will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at Greasewood Flats—1607 Griffith Rd.
