A Coon Rapids man charged with misdemeanor assault following a July 15 altercation was sentenced last week. Twenty-two-year-old Dakota Aaryn Folce was arrested after authorities received a report alleging Folce had punched another individual in the face while intoxicated at a home in the 200 block of 5th Avenue in Coon Rapids. Court records show he reached a plea agreement with prosecutors and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with all but two days suspended after filing a guilty plea. In exchange for a portion of his sentence being suspended, Folce was placed on probation for one year to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and ordered to pay several hundred dollars in fines, surcharges and court costs.
