Shirley Kendle, age 77, of Carroll, died Saturday, August 14, 2021 at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. The wearing of face coverings is requested by the Kendle family.
A Private Family Interment will be held at the Carroll City Cemetery.

Shirley, the daughter of Paul and Mary Helen (Rucker) Quandt was born on July 6, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa. At a young age the family moved to the Willey area. Shirley grew up and graduated from Kuemper Catholic Schools in 1962.
After her education Shirley worked for Kendle Oil and then the family business of Quandt Auto Salvage. She also volunteered for the Foster Grandparent Program. She thoroughly enjoyed being a Foster Grandparent and always appreciated the opportunities it created. Shirley enjoyed going to garage sales and enjoyed her friends and family.
Left to celebrate Shirley’s life are her children: Karen (Jack) Petersen of St. Mary’s Georgia, Wayne (Kathy) Kendle of East Grand Forks, Minnesota; Bruce (Michelle) Kendle of Royse City, Texas; and Rhonda (Danny) Ciamaichelo of Augusta, Georiga; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings: Phyllis Rickers of Carroll, Gary Quandt of Carroll, Steve “Cuda” (Deb) Quandt of Carroll, and Tom (Lisa) Quandt of Carroll; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Helen Quandt, and her brother Allan Quandt.
The Kendle, Quandt, Ciamaichelo, and Petersen Families wish to express their appreciation and gratitude for the love and support from all the friends and acquaintances of Shirley Quandt. She truly touched many lives, and will be greatly missed by all.
