Carroll County Public Health To Hold COVID Vaccination Clinic Friday For First And Second Doses

Carroll County Public Health will once again be offering vaccination opportunities for area residents later this week. “With the Delta variant becoming more common, it’s better to get inoculated sooner rather than later,” says Public Health nurse, Sara Schulte. “If you’ve been on the fence until now, we urge you to seriously consider the risks of the virus. We [also] have ample supply of vaccine available for students age 12 and older who are returning to school or college.” The vaccine clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27 at the Carroll County Public Health offices, located within St. Anthony Regional Hospital on the second-floor corridor, directly south of the cafeteria and between the Wolfe Eye Clinic and the Iowa Heart Center. All three vaccines—Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson—are available for either first or second doses. Third doses will NOT be available at this clinic. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are appreciated and can be made by calling 712-794-5408. Masks must be worn and all attendees are asked to bring along insurance cards if they have one as the vaccine is free, but there is an administration charge that is fully covered by insurance.
