A woman accused of drug trafficking and going armed with intent following an investigation into a dispute involving firearms last October has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors. According to Carroll County District Court records, 31-year-old Kamille Elise Garnett initially faced six charges: intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a class C felony; going armed with intent and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver involving a firearm, class D felonies; and assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, child endangerment and possession of alprazolam with intent to deliver involving a firearm, aggravated misdemeanors. As part of Garnett’s agreement with prosecutors, she pled guilty to the misdemeanor counts with removal of the firearm enhancement and the remaining charges will be dismissed after sentencing. Garnett was arrested by the Carroll Police Department the morning of Oct. 5, 2020 after law enforcement was called to the 500 block of E. 18th Street on a report of Garnett and 28-year-old Glennisha Myers arguing in the parking lot while armed with pistols. A search warrant conducted at Garnett’s residence located narcotics, baggies, a scale, firearms and cash. Garnett’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 4.
