Jenna Currier and Emma Myers both qualified for State last season and started this season exactly like everyone expected them too. Ellie Beagle broke onto the scene on Thursday in her first meet for the Carroll Tigers and nearly stole the show winning the 200 Free, 500 Free and was part winning relay teams in the 200 Free Relay and the 400 Free Relay. The Tigers fell by just 1 point but found a lot of positive things to continue to improve with.
Emma Myers won the 200 IM in 2:21.50, Ellie Beagle took 1st in the 200 Free in 2:07.77. The Tigers own their third straight event when Jenna Currier won the 100 Fly in 1:01.86, Beagle then won the 500 Free in 5:47.71. Emma Myers, Hailey Burns, Ellie Beagle and Jenna Currier teamed up to win the 200 Free Relay in 1:44.90. Beagle, Myers and Currier where joined by Amelia Holt in winning the 400 Free Relay in 3:51.92.
Carroll swims again Thursday, September 9th at Des Moines Lincoln.
