Glidden city officials announced this (Thursday) afternoon the boil advisory issued for a limited number of customers has been lifted. Water services were disrupted Tuesday morning for an approximately four block area east and north of downtown to allow crews to complete a water main replacement. With that work now finished and test results showing no signs of bacterial contamination, impacted customers can now resume normal water consumption. The city thanks residents for their patience and understanding for the duration of the project.
