No Injuries In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Grand Junction Wednesday

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident northeast of Grand Junction on Wednesday. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on 200th Street and X Avenue at approximately 1:19 p.m. The initial investigation revealed 65-year-old Steven Neese of Grand Junction was eastbound on 200th Street in a 2014 Ford F-250 and was pulling a trailer. Sixty-eight-year-old Danny Steward of Cleghorn was northbound on X Avenue in a 2006 GMC Yukon. Neese went through the intersection and the Steward vehicle struck the axles of his trailer. There was an estimated $4,000 in damage to the Yukon and $3,000 in damage to the trailer. Neese was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
