No injuries and only functional damage resulted from a three-vehicle accident in Carroll on Thursday. The Carroll Police Department responded to the scene at Grant Road and Todd Terrace at approximately 3:24 p.m. Forty-two-year-old Nathan Richards of Carroll was northbound on Grant Road in a 2016 Toyota Highlander. He was stopped for traffic to negotiate a left turn onto Todd Terrace. Sixty-year-old Danny Thelen, also of Carroll, was northbound behind the Richards vehicle in a 2017 Chevrolet Colorado. The third vehicle, a 2013 Dodge Ram, was being driven by a 17-year-old Carroll female and was also northbound, but failed to stop and struck the Thelen vehicle. This caused a chain reaction and the Thelen truck struck the Richards vehicle. The teenager was cited for failure to maintain control.
