Gov. Kim Reynolds has announced seven local individuals have been appointed to Iowa commissions and boards. There are two in need of Senate confirmation and include: Patricia Beck of Carroll County who will sit on the Iowa Comprehensive Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Fund Board; and Pam Bleam of Calhoun County who will serve on the State Board of Educational Examiners. Other appointments that are not subject to Senate confirmation include: Ron Reischl of Carroll County on the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative—Growing committee; Danna Larson of Sac County on the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative-Investing committee; Brenna Bird of Guthrie County on the Iowa Developmental Disabilities Council; and Jason Hoffman of Carroll County and Daniel Schaffer of Crawford County who will sit on the Iowa Statewide Interoperable Communications System Board.
