The Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) has announced that an Auburn resident has been elected to serve an at-large, one-year term. Jeff Frank was one of five members elected to executive offices. Randy Miller of Lacona was elected to serve as president-elect while Robb Ewoldt of Davenport took the helm as president, accepting the gavel from past president, Jeff Jorgenson of Sidney. Dave Walton of Wilton was elected as treasurer and Suzanne Shirbroun of Farmersburg as secretary. ISA directors also re-elected Wayne Fredericks of Osage to serve as director on the board of the American Soybean Association (ASA). Ewoldt says this is an exciting time for the soybean industry, “As we rise to meet growing global demand for protein and domestic demand for biofuels, members of the executive committee are experienced, dedicated and passionate about the soybean industry and driven to deliver for the association,” he says. “The new year offers new opportunities to serve in the best interest of soybean farmers throughout the state.”
