At a recent meeting of the Carroll City Council, a local business owner questioned why the city is not notifying contractors of bidding opportunities. City Manager, Mike Pogge-Weaver, says the city does maintain a website that lists the open Request for Proposals (RFPs) and bid opportunities. However, the staff has taken this concern to heart and has developed a new way for local contractors to receive advanced notice. Those who are already signed up to receive the weekly City Manager’s Report, can add themselves to the RFP/Bid Opportunities email following the link included below to update their email preferences. For those who are not receiving this report, there is also a link to subscribe. Anyone with questions can call City Hall at 792-1000.
