Raymond John Miller was arrested and faces multiple charges of sexual abuse. In an affidavit filed by the department, Miller was taken into custody at approximately 12:34 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of E. 5th Street and officially charged with three counts of second-degree sexual abuse. According to that affidavit on the class B felony charges, Miller is alleged to have had sexual contact with multiple victims six to 10 years ago and those individuals were under the age of 12 at that time. A class B felony in the state of Iowa carries a maximum penalty of up to 25 years in prison on each count. As of this (Thursday) morning, he remained incarcerated at the Carroll County jail.
