Boys Cross Country Results for Thursday, October 7th
IKM-Manning at Boyer Valley
IKM-Manning had a strong showing at Thursday’s meet in Boyer Valley, taking home a second place team finish along with two top ten individual finishes.
Finishing the course with the fastest time for IKM-Manning was Caden Keller, who was able to complete the course in third place with a time of 18:08. Lane Sams was 16 seconds behind Keller and finished inside the top ten in seventh place with a time of 18:20. Nathan Johnson for the Wolves ran well enough to give himself a 15th place finish with a final time of 19:44. Abe Polzien was not too far away, finishing in 17th place with a time of 19:46. The other IKM-Manning finishing inside the top 20 was Joel McLaws who finished right behind Polzien in 18th with a time of 19:46.80. With their strong individual performances, the Wolves were able to finish second as a team with 60 points, behind meet champion Missouri Valley who finished with 51 points.
The Wolves are in action next when they join Audubon at the Western Iowa Conference meet on Monday, October 11th.
